Scalable multi-site

About the project

As Hjo Installation grew, the need for more websites within the group increased. They needed a flexible solution that was easy to expand and manage over time.

Concept

We developed a scalable multi-site in Storyblok with a common structure for the entire group. New companies can easily get their own website with an individual expression within the same visual framework, while all sites are managed from a common environment.

About the multi-site solution

We worked with a modular and dynamic design and set up editorial theming, which means the sites stay within the same style but with room for individuality. In Storyblok, the sites are organized in a convenient folder structure, and the editor only needs one login to manage them.

FAQ

Do you build both websites and apps?

Yes. We make websites, apps and other digital services, from user research to operations.

The way we work is the same whatever the technology. We start with what users need, make a proposal and test it. Then we build in steps that can be released along the way, instead of in one big delivery.

We also take over services someone else has built. Then we start by reviewing the code, the content and the hosting setup, so you know what you have before we promise anything.

What happens after a website or app launches?

We stay on if you want us to. After launch, you can sign an ongoing agreement for maintenance and support.

The agreement covers technical maintenance, security updates, monitoring and further development. It can also include follow-up, for example on how the site converts or how an AI assistant answers.

The scope is set by how critical the service is to your business. If you want to run it yourselves, we hand over the documentation and walk you through it.

Who owns the work you produce?

You own the result once the final invoice is paid. That covers source code, design files, copy and the configuration we set up for you.

We keep our own tools, code libraries and methods if they existed before the assignment or were developed outside it. You get the right to use them in what we have delivered.

We like to show the work as a case study. If you would rather we did not, we write that into the contract.
